The future email client will have dedicated privacy information before launch.
Local protection analysis
The extension analyses visited URLs and page signals in your browser, including text, links, form structure and suspicious technical indicators. It uses bundled rules and reputation lists. In this version, analysed URLs and page excerpts are not sent to a MailBoxster server for a verdict. Page access, tab and navigation permissions enable protection; storage remembers your preferences.
To detect certain credential leaks, a local protection mechanism may temporarily compare suspicious request contents with password values, particularly for certain messaging destinations. This comparison stays within the page. These values are neither sent to AZURO SOFTWARE nor retained in a log. Temporary technical fingerprints used for this purpose expire after 30 seconds and are limited to 32 entries.
Data kept on your device
Your browser stores settings, language, allowed domains and statistics. Local history contains up to 30 recent blocks: site origin without path or query parameters, host, score, reasons and time. Totals by site and reason are also retained. Temporary tab exceptions may remember the relevant full URL to honour your navigation choice.
This data is not synchronised through a MailBoxster account. Settings and statistics remain local until changed, cleared or removed with the extension. Clearing history removes events and totals by site and reason; overall counters may remain. Browser and extension controls let you manage this data, which AZURO SOFTWARE cannot access remotely.
Website, preferences and hosting
This website version uses no marketing trackers, third-party advertising cookies or third-party audience measurement. Your language preference may be remembered in browser local storage. You can clear it in browser settings; the site remains available without remembering this choice. Reduced motion follows your system preference directly.
Serving and securing the website may require the hosting provider to process technical data, including IP addresses. Cloudflare Pages is planned. The actual provider, server logs, retention periods and any transfers outside the European Economic Area and safeguards must be confirmed before publication. No unverified server retention period is claimed here.
Contacting us
The contact page displays an address you can copy. An option also opens your email application. Nothing is sent until you send the message yourself. We then use your address and message to respond. Only authorised AZURO SOFTWARE personnel and providers necessary for that exchange may access it. Messages are retained while handling the request, then only as necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims within applicable periods.
Asking about the future email client is neither an order nor automatic newsletter registration. Any future optional promotional communications will require separate consent where required, with an easy withdrawal mechanism. We do not sell personal data.
Purposes and legal bases
Fraud prevention and security pursue the legitimate interest of protecting users, subject to necessity, proportionality and respect for their rights. Handling requests relies on our legitimate interest in providing a response or on pre-contractual steps you request, depending on the subject.
